Kissel

Kissel is a DJ, designer, and organizer based in Philadelphia. He’s a resident of Shake Sum and the host of Hollow, two Philly dance music collectives. He seeks to enable others to experience the body movement and spiritual rebirth he found as a dancer in the Philly underground scene. His sound is centered around percussive, syncopated groove techno and more spacious Detroit and minimal, though he incorporates inspirations from wide range of genres, from global club to eurodance and more. Heavily inspired by craft, he frequently looks to incorporate physical and tactile art into the events he produces.
